This will allow developers to make the most of our new homes service and get people into the right accommodation with a lower than anticipated tax burden”.
With the stamp duty changes made the £500,000 threshold now offers a saving of £15,000 compared to before the changes. In order for buyers to benefit, they must get their offer in and accepted before March 31 2021. This is the proposed end of the scheme.
